Valley Medical Group is seeking a Licensed, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pulmonary Medicine to join its Pulmonary practice and participate in both outpatient and inpatient care areas at The Valley Hospital.
The practice comprises of both Physicians and APC’s. The schedule consists of rotations between critical care and intermediate care units, pulmonary consultation service and office. The critical care and intermediate care units are staffed by APCs 24×7. Overnight call by MD’s is taken from home with the expectation of in-person presence as need arises. Duties include pulmonary office, tele visits, PFT interpretation, critical care and intermediate care units, pulmonary and critical care consultations, procedures and supervision of APC’s. Procedural expertise in thoracentesis, pigtail catheters, indwelling pleural catheters, bronchoscopies, EBUS and intubations is required. Sleep Medicine Certification/Eligibility is preferred. Ideal candidate will be someone who is hard working, flexible, team player with excellent communication, critical thinking, analytical, and relationship building skills who enjoys a non-academic, dynamic, community-based hospital and office setting. Candidates must have an MD or DO degree and be board-certified/board-eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. A valid New Jersey state license, DEA, and CDS is a must.
