At Valley Health System, believe that providing preventive screenings and comprehensive medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, and wellness programs are key to maintaining the good health of our employees and protecting them from future illness.

• Medical coverage is provided through Aetna’s In-Network Only (OAAS) and In-Network Plus Out-of-Network (POS) plans. Medical plan participants receive the greatest value when they visit Valley facilities and physicians for care; participants also have access to a network of physicians and facilities through the Client Specific Network, Healthcare Transformation Consortium and Aetna.
• Prescription drug coverage is administered through CVS Caremark and included when enrolling in a Valley medical plan. It cannot be elected separately.
• Dental coverage is provided by Delta Dental of New Jersey, New Jersey’s largest dental coverage provider. Participants can take advantage of preventive care, minor and major treatment and orthodontia benefits.
• Eye exams are covered under the Valley medical plans and discounted at VMG Ophthalmology. All employees also receive discounts on glasses and contacts at participating providers.
• The Valley Health Pharmacies are located at the Robert and Audrey Luckow Pavilion in Paramus, the Valley Hospital in Paramus and the Center for Health and Wellness in Mahwah. All employees are eligible to use this pharmacy.

Valley’s Wellness Programs and Services offer ways for employees to improve their health, adopt a healthy lifestyle, and prevent illness. Services include Employee Occupational Health Service, free screenings and exams, pre-employment physicals, workers’ compensation, sick care, travel medicine, adult immunizations. Weight Watchers at Work, smoking cessation classes, and various courses to improve health and fitness, including Pilates, Zumba, and yoga.

Valley’s Health LifeStyles is a world-class, full service fitness center designed to help you reach and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
