To prepare and cook food for patients, employee cafeteria, community meals, and catering. To provide functional supervision to staff in the preparation of food items when required.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma. Two to four years in an accredited course in Quantity Food Preparation. ServSafe certification.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of institutional or similar quantity cooking experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Good communication and interaction skills. Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details. Ability to function competently and maintain composure during stressful situations and changing work environment related to changing Department needs. Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities and perform job related responsibilities. Ability to effectively problem-solve.
