As a leader in the Valley Health System, the best part of my job is having the ability to SERVE, the patients, families and the staff. I often refer to Valley as the Disney World of Nursing.

I always tell applicants that Valley is a great place to work because of all the opportunities to grow and how strong of a team we are. The people at Valley are truly my second family.

What I think is most special about Valley health is that while it is a large health system it doesn’t feel that way. The health system has not swallowed up its employees the way I believe others have. There is a sense of family and shared purpose that I feel is truly unique.

We are building a state of the art facility in Paramus. This provides us the opportunity to serve our community for years to come. Our hospital will represent what the future of healthcare should look like.

Valley has provided me with many professional development opportunities starting with a new nurse graduate orientation program that I was hired into when there were few job opportunities to be found. Since then I’ve benefited from tuition reimbursement which allowed me to pursue advanced nursing degrees and attain leadership nursing positions in the organization.

I think Valley Health is a special place to work because we are always striving to take our organization to the next level.

There are very few jobs that exist where you have the ability to directly impact a person’s life in a positive way and be there to see the results. Working at Valley Home Care is one of those places. Being able to work with patients and see them improve in real time is a feeling that few people get to experience in their professional live, and it is incredibly rewarding.
