Systems Analyst (Project Management)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under direction of Information Systems Management, the Systems Analyst will primarily focus on managing various projects ranging from medium to high complexity throughout the project life cycle. In this role the analyst will also be responsible for analyzing software applications to ensure they fit the needs of the business.
- Strong track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale projects often in parallel, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage all levels of leadership and staff.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on driving results and ensuring accountability across teams.
- Experience leading teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments utilizing Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum methodologies
- Background working with clinical workflow analysis, system configuration, integration, testing, support, and data collection.
- Strong technical understanding of systems and workflows
- PMP or CAPM preferred.
- Experience with Meditech and/or Athena preferred.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field of study, or relevant equivalent work related education/experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with information systems applications. Experience in conducting problem analysis, problem management, requirements gathering, feasibility studies, system design and implementation. Working knowledge of healthcare enterprise preferred. 2 to 3 years experience preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Working knowledge of hospital operation preferred.
